Alyssa Greiner began her career in the fast-paced world of broadcast news as a Page at NBC in New York City. Sporting a polyester suit with a bow-tie, she gave studio tours, worked at Saturday Night Live and NBC Nightly News. After turning in the bowtie, Alyssa landed a role as Brian Williams production assistant at MSNBC, traveling the country to cover major events such as the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta (and the bombing) and the Clinton/Dole Presidential Campaign and Inauguration.
With a knack for storytelling and the ability to recognize when something is newsworthy, Alyssa’s career took a turn towards broadcast public relations, where over the course of 15 years she worked with major corporations, brands and nonprofits such as: Hasbro, Mercedes-Benz, American Heart Association, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Scholastic & Subaru.
Fast forward to today. Alyssa is the Owner/President of Spin360 Media Group – a digital media strategy company that works with entrepreneurs, nonprofits and brands, teaching them how to effectively navigate their digital and social platforms so they can be seen, get heard and stand out from the crowd. Her background has armed her with the perfect skill-set to not only identify & create smarter ways to tell a value-driven story but the most effective ways to distribute it via social, digital and traditional media outlets.
When she isn’t making brands stand out from the crowd, Alyssa loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, catching a show on Broadway and knitting (yup, she likes to make stuff). When not busy doing any of the above, you can probably find her with her dog, Lucy, her favorite family member!
